Ive been out the loop for a few days without a computer, kicking things back off from my end with one of the best cyphers of all time, featuring legends Canibus, Big Pun, Mos Def, DMX, Mic Geronimo & John Forte. Im guessing this is from around 1998, and Pun kills it.
Last month I posted up the video of the first single for this project ‘Fade to Black’ featuring Akil the MC of Jurassic 5, now the full album has dropped and it’s a big look for production duo Krate Krusaders. Featuring the likes of Wordsmith, Homeboy Sandman, Jack Flash, Dr. Syntax, Buggsy, Sonnyjim, Journalist 103, and many more from the UK and US, ‘When The Needle Drops’ is pure head nodding HipHop from start to finish.
The first single off Brother Ali’s collaboration album with Producer Jake One titled ‘Mourning In America & Dreaming In Color’, I’m a big fan of both of these guys, looking forward to the project.

Some time ago I was searching online for some Murs tracks and stumbled across a podcast he did called ‘Werd2Murs’ with some guy called Isaiah Toothtaker. I had no idea who this guy was but his story’s about long running court cases, nightclub altercations, his career as a tattooist, and other highly offensive stuff had me crying with laughter. Over the course of these podcasts I found out that Toothtaker himself also rapped and since then have seen his career on the mic pick up steam. Yesterday on Twitter he mentioned that he was thinking of letting his 8yo twins tattoo him at his shop, and today he posted up a video of the result.
